Having had the pleasure of reviewing Green People Sun Lotion this past summer, I was keen to share more of their products with my readers. As I had such a great response to their products with my sensitive rosacea skin, I knew that this was a company that really considers the individual in terms of what they need.

Review – Help At Hand Hand Cream (91% Organic)

Suitable for dry/irritated skin 

I love a good hand-cream. I don’t like hand-creams that take ages to sink into the skin. It has to smell good too and do its job well. ‘Help At Hand’ not only ticks all these boxes, it does so much more.

This hand-cream comes in a round tube shaped bottle with an easy spout for application to the hands.

The ingredients are so enriching including Shea butter, Perilla and Evening Primrose oils. These are excellent for protecting the hands against the cold of the winter season. For those of you who suffer with cracked or chapped hands, this cream also includes anti-inflammatory properties such as Chamomile Flower extract and Marshmallow Root extract that is both soothing and nurturing to sore hands. My partner who has such dry sore skin found it helps soothe his eczema and we both found it soaked into the skin so quickly. No need to dry my hands off on a towel if I was in hurry to leave the house after rubbing it in.

The reason it absorbs so quickly is the fact that it’s a non-greasy hand cream that is not bulked out with water like many hand-creams on the market. So you are getting nothing but nourishment for your hands, the ideal hand cream in my opinion.

It is also a perfect size and easy to pop into my hand-bag when out shopping in the winter or walking out in nature on my hikes.

Hands + Nails

I have quite good nails, but loved rubbing this cream into my nails. It strengthens them and can repair them because it contains not only Shea Butter but Hemp Oil and Beeswax. My partner, not wanting to say he is a big girl (grin), often has chipped nails because he likes to dip his hands into so many chemicals when cleaning without gloves. This cream even helps him too.

Cost

For an excellent hand-cream, this is reasonably priced. And I found I didn’t need a lot to get a good cover on my hands. It currently (at time of posting) is priced at £10.95

Summary


My overall summary of this product is that it does what it says on the box. No false advertising here; it soothes, nourishes, soaks into the skin quickly and helps sore hands. Highly recommended to anyone with these symptoms and I imagine it would make a great gift at Christmas for gardeners out there too, or as a stocking filler for a loved one. I know my Auntie would love this hand-cream as she has terrible problems with her hands from gardening.
